My Top 50 Favourite Albums of All Time! (Part 5)
A list of my top 50 favourite albums of all time from 10 - 1.
10. Abbey Road by The Beatles
Rating: 10/10
Genres: Pop Rock, Progressive Pop, Psychedelic Pop, Art Pop
This is one of my earliest memories of a Beatles album. Throughout the record, it is exceptionally/beautifully produced, catchy, and intriguing. The first half is already fantastic, and the second half is one of the most wonderful musical experiences ever! That is why this record has always had a special place in my heart and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, some of my favourite Beatles songs, such as Yesterday, Strawberry Fields Forever, and Long and Winding Road, are not included on this album, but that doesn't matter because the bulk of the songs are already fantastic to me. This album demonstrates why I, and practically everyone else, feel The Beatles are the greatest band of all time. My musical choices are likely the result of listening to this record hundreds of times as a youngster. I still want to duplicate the record cover at Abbey Road, which I know is basic, but I don't care.

I think this is a musical masterpiece due to its depth of passion and overwhelming grandeur. The expansive, amazing, and deep soundscapes explored in this album's musical works are intriguing. This album's capacity to evoke a variety of emotions is what really sets it apart. The melody progressively intensifies and swells, creating feelings of calmness as well as tension. 4. In Rainbows by Radiohead
Rating: 10/10
Genres: Art Rock, Alternative Rock, Dream Pop, Art Pop, Electronic, Post-Rock
I think this is a phenomenal album for several reasons. The music is quite varied, ranging from dreamy to lively, and each song offers a distinct experience. I love Radiohead because of their inventive usage of instruments and electronic noises. Secondly, the lyrics are meaningful and accessible. The songs' exploration of love, worry, and life's major concerns through Thom Yorke's lyrics makes it simple to relate to them on a personal level. His impassioned singing heightens the effect. All things considered, "In Rainbows" sticks out due to its unique combination of inventiveness, realistic words, and lovely music. I can't get enough of this album, every time I listen to it, it gets better.

3. Deathconsciousness by Have A Nice Life
Rating: 10/10
Genres: Shoegaze, Post-Punk, Post-Rock, Gothic Rock, Drone, Post-Industrial, Doomgaze, Industrial Rock
I have an exalted mental state each time I listen to the album. I was randomly introduced to this album via Spotify one day, and ever since then, I've changed for the better. "Holy Fucking Shit 40,000" is one of my all-time favourite songs. The way that this album handles mortality, sadness, and worry is intimate. The tortured vocals and tragic lyrics are perfectly complemented by the instrumentation and low-fidelity production. The entire atmosphere is gloomy, which makes for an uneasy listen. The album progresses flawlessly through each track, culminating in "Earthmover," which is maybe the finest album ending I've ever heard. Maybe I need to visit a therapist.

With this album, The Beatles have once again demonstrated their expertise in the art of music. This album is packed with gems, each song possessing a charming aspect, appealing melodies, and creative production. From the dreamy melodies of "I Am the Walrus" to the charmingly nostalgic "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields Forever," one of my favourite Beatles songs ever, every song showcases the band's incredible inventiveness and compositional skills. This album is a timeless classic with excellent musicianship and a distinctive fusion of musical styles.

1. Exmilitary by Death Grips
Rating: 10/10
Genres: Industrial Hip Hop, Experimental Hip Hop, Hardcore Hip Hop, Abstract Hip Hop, Glitch Hop, Rap Rock
This album is my all-time favourite album as well as my favourite hip-hop album. I was rather unfamiliar with Death Grips, having just heard their second album, The Money Store, but I enjoyed it and then I went on to listen to this album and it has left a permanent mark on me. Some of my favourite rap songs are on this album: Takyon, Spread Eagle Across the Block, Beware, and I Want It I Need It. MC Ride is one of the finest rappers I've ever heard because of his unrestrained, hostile delivery and intense vocals on this album. It tenses you up like the strongest adrenaline rush you could want. How these guys can come about with samples from David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Pet Shop Boys, and the Beastie Boys on one mixtape is mind-boggling. As these samples were given new identities, I merely watched in disbelief. The album's harshest sample, "Beware," features an audio recording of Charles Manson. Unfortunately, Spotify doesn't have this.
